Becoming a member of the PSO is a terrific way to connect with other families, stay informed about important events, get involved in service to the school, and advocate for your student by allowing your voice to be heard.

The membership dues you pay go directly to help fund all of the various events and activities we will be working to provide for the students and our school community.

The UCTech Parent School Organization (UCTech PSO) is a registered charitable organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Identification number 81-4152850. All donations are tax deductible and eligible for matching corporate donations, if applicable.

Volunteer Interest

If you are interested in volunteering, please select one or more subcommittees. There will be more information sent out closer to each event.

HOSPITALITY COMMITTEE: Picking up snack for PSO membership monthly meetings, fundraising events, working with our hospitality chair on the Teacher Appreciation Luncheon & Holiday Breakfast. Decorate, Setup, Cleanup, Shop.

RELAY FOR LIFE COMMITTEE: Coordinate breakfast donations from local business and parents, will work with their counterparts at AIT to organize: The Breakfast, chaperones, and to coordinate with the student activities committee to make Relay a success. Setup and cleanup.

SPIRIT WEAR COMMITTEE: Work with our Spirit Wear Chair, Laura Walker, to sell at school functions and throughout the year - Freshman Orientation, (Aug.); Freshman Acceptance Night, (March); Back to School Picnic, (Sept.); Back to School Night, (Sept.); Harvest Festival, (Oct.); and other events; as well as organize Spirit Wear apparel in the on-campus storage.

WELCOME PICNIC COMMITTEE: Will work with representatives from all UCVTS schools to plan the Welcome back picnic during the spring and summer leading up to the picnic. Setup and clean up.

SENIOR AWARD COMMITTEE: Comprised of 3 parents or a teacher who will review/evaluate and grade all eligible student applicants based on a point scale system.

PROJECT GRADUATION COMMITTEE: Project Graduation is a parent committee works over the course of each school year to raise funds and coordinate events to support the annual Project Graduation event. Work with our PG Coordinator and other group of parents. It’s a drug and alcohol-free, chaperoned, all night celebration for our Graduating Seniors!

NOMINATING COMMITTEE: Responsible for preparing a lineup of officers and help in the evaluation and recommendation of candidates to serve on the PSO Executive Board.

TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE: Maintaining the PSO website, Instagram & FB posts, etc.

TRICKY TRAY: Coordinate and solicit donations. Wrap baskets & prepare book. Organize, plan, Set-up and Clean-up at event.
